VCU's rejection letter through email was titled

"Reject Letter email".

Exactly like that.

Yup. Never heard back from them. It's weird hwo you hear from schools you never thought you would... and not from ones you thought you might... and such.. random! Not that I had thought I would hear from tufts before but I did think I woudl hear from OSU!
I would have appreciated rejection letter more than reject letter... it would imply that I'm simply rejected, not a reject overall. Just kidding--I am just amusing myself.
 
Straight forward is good! They only have to accept 80-100 people and the rest of people who didn't make it, oh well! Should have done more to be competitive. No need to coddle us.
 
Got that email also. With the subject line like that why even bother opening it. Good luck to those still waiting to hear something positive.
 
got the same thing today, unfortunately it's my state school 🙁. oh well hopefully i'll get some good news from somewhere this spring break
 
I GOT THE SAME EMAIL FROM VCU THIS MORNING TOO! :laugh: I didn't want to say anything because I have nothing against them but those were poor choice of words! The first sentence itself was pretty bad too. Something like, "we cannot accept you." CANNOT?? How about "will not be able to"?

did you guys read the part that they said "we cannot accept you since there are MORE qualified applicants"

i love reading rejecting letters now for some reasons
