Wow, first heart breaker of the year for me..sigh...and I know more is on the way....this whole application process is so draining psychologically...I know I have the intellect to pass the national boards and passion to be an excellent dentist..it's so hard to let that be known to those in charge who decide thousands of people's fate with a flick of a finger...i know i'm not gonna give up and it's only a step back but still it's kind of disheartening 🙁 ...now on to my case interview with something to prove 😳

I know what you mean. I got a rejection from Alabama a while back, and what's worse...it was before I had gotten any interviews. For a while I thought I was bound for failure. It was terrible. There are thousands of us right there with you every step of the way, so keep your chin up. Good things come to those who wait. 😳

I received the rejection letter from UPenn yesterday also. It really~~ depressed me......

judging by killua's sig, it was probably a pre-interview rejection based mainly on numbers. Numbers don't say it all...i'm sure you are all wonderful people 😍

rejection letter or not, I wish I heard something from upenn. They have failed to contact me still, after the initial mail stating that my application is complete... and I submitted my aadsas pretty early too... 🙁

Same here. I feel you, and I have no idea what the heck is taking so long... Hopefully we'll hear from them soon 🙂

I submitted my secondary at the end of Sept. and they got back to me early Oct. I think that the application process is so random!

Yeah, me too. I called them on friday to make sure my file was complete and the lady told me that they sent me an interview invite. She scheduled me in for Nov. 17 and said I was really lucky cuz that was the last date available in November. Sooooo Lucky!

I submitted mine in October and have an interview on Nov. 17, 2005.
