Rejected by UVM . . . TWICE!

So as if being rejected isn't a harsh enough experience, UVM just rejected me for the second time. I got my first rejection letter at the end of January and really wasn't that miffed about it, a little bummed but I knew I would get rejected from places in this process so not unexpected. But then today I got another letter from UVM, and I'm like "WTF???" and my husband proposed that maybe they had gotten some sense and changed their minds, I open it and its ANOTHER rejection letter. WAY HARSH! I know its probably just an office SNAFU but still, my tender ego didn't need to be kicked twice by the same ADCOM. Oh well, I'll stop ranting.

Wow, you too? Yes, I got a second reject from UVM so you weren't the only one.(Gee, if I get a third I may have to e-mail them and tell them "Yes, I can read and understand a letter.")

As if this process isn't ego-crushing enough. We get told TWICE we're not good enough. Damn. Good thing I have a dozen hot Krispy Kreme donuts. 🙂

Yes! Me too. I was excited though because the same thing happened with UMINN, but the second letter after my first rejection was in invitation to complete the secondary!

but no, UVM still doesn't think i'm cool enough.
