I bet you will get lucky with one of your in-state schools...good luck.

meeeeee too. This was my first rejection, and honestly it was one of the only two schools that i expected to get an interview at; this whole process has surprised me immensely. I never thought i'd get interviews at the schools i did, i just applied there because my uncle convinced my family to pay for applications, so i figured why not. Tulane was one of the only schools i really thought i had a realistic shot at and would be a good fit at.
I'm guessing we both didn't manage to convince them of fit. I don't know if you've already had your EVMS and VCU interviews or not, but this is definitely something to focus on and be prepared to answer before you arrive for your interview; why you fit there and how to prove it to your interviewer through your answers and questions about the school.

Snail mail rejection?

Thanks. Yea I really hope so, bc I dont think I will get any interviews from other places. But I'm still glad I at least got those interviews.

When I interviewed there, they said they had 3x as many applications at that point than they had at the same point last year. It sounded like they were overloaded and had to reject more initially than they anticipated. I wouldn't take it too personally.

don't let it get you down.

just try to think about what you could do better for next time and go into those interviews confident and ready to sell yourself!!

that's what i did at baylor. after getting 4 waitlists, i was totally down, but I went in there with a positive attitude, talked about how great I was and how excited I was to see the school. every time we started to get sidetracked i somehow managed to wedge in another comment about me or the school. i got positive feedback from both of my interviewers, so i guess it worked.

you can do it!!🙂

Do you think its like this at every school. This is bad for us and will be worse for future applicants (which I hope = not me)
