can anyone please ACTUALLY clarify if all dental schools will blacklist you if you choose to decline ur only dental schools acceptance and reapply the next cycle instead? i understand you will be rejected from that one school but what about every other one?

i keep seeing on reddit that apparently all the schools will know and can find out. if anyone is on admissions and has a answer that isn’t from “i heard” pls lmk the real answer

Get off of reddit. We might find out where students matriculate, but not who refuses offers.

But you underestimate how hard it is to get an acceptance. You would be blacklisted at the school you refused to attend.

some schools may question why you did it, but they would not blacklist you...

people avoid SDN and go to reddit because they would rather go with "they say" than hear the truth...

so the dental schools cannot find out that i rejected my acceptance in the past?

they can certainly ask and fish for information in an interview. The application also asks questions to those who are reapplicants.
the application rly only asks about if ur a reapplicant. but i mean other than that is there a way in adea aadsas that they can see u have received an acceptance and chose to reject it? if u happen to know

I never got AADSAS reports about "the ones that opted out." We don't even know in the AMCAS/AACOMAS world. In short, you're being pwned/catfished (whatever the lingo is).

That's why I told you, get off of reddit. They aren't doing you any favors, and it is scary to think perhaps one day, some of them will be your peers in the profession if you are so lucky.

Officially, if you refuse to go to a specific school, it's not the business of other schools to know that you refused. For all we know, you accepted some other offer (including medical school, research, Peace Corps). We don't behave like a spurned or scorned lover.
