If I was just rejected from LECOM Bradenton, does that mean I'm pretty much screwed for Erie, both PCOM's, NYCOM, and UMDNJ??? Anyone get denied from LECOM-B but interviewed elsewhere?

I got waitlisted for LECOM-Fl but received an acceptance at the Erie branch.

So does this mean LECOM-B is pretty full or did you guys not go for the PBL? I am interviewing there in early Jan and you guys are making me worried that I will just be waitlisted and LECOM-B is where I want to go.

If you were rejected from LECOM B it means you were rejected from LECOM B. Nothing else. Each school has its own admissions protocols and what they would like to see in an ideal applicant. For example, I was flat-out-pre-interview rejected at several schools, waitlisted at one and accepted at one. If I had applied the reasoning that since I was rejected at one, all would reject me, I would have saved a lot of money interviewing but wouldn't be matriculating in the Fall. Don't give up hope. Call the ADCOM, ask for an explanation of why you were rejected, and try to bolster that part of the app. I assume you interviewed there, but if you didn't, ask them what you could do in the future to strengthen your application. Out of curiousity, what WERE your stats/interview offers/etc. The more you tell us, the more we can offer advice. However, truly the only folks that can tell you your chances are the ADCOMS. Good luck to you!

If the poster was interviewed, doesnt that mean that they were interested before the interview, or do they interview people that they know they will reject? I am very curious to know whether the poster had an interview. For all those that have interviewed, what do you think the january statistics are for those interviewed vs accepted, are almost all accepted if you interview well? 🙄
