🙁 Hi, i also got a rejection letter from columbia. Anyways, right now i really dont know what to do because im still waiting for other schools. What other school did you apply? and your Score for part 1 and Toefl? Well, my score really sucks for the part 1 and well, for Toefl i thought Columbia website said that person could be exampt from taking Toefl if the school using English as their language for teaching. Well, please reply!!

my part I is 88 and my toefl is 257 and i don't know what to do either. I just apply to columbia an d NYU only, and now that columbia rejected me, I just have only one option remaining wich is NYU.. I am planning to apply to other schools, but I live in NY with my husband and it is going to be really difficult to move to other states.
Could you please tell me your score??? thanks and lets keep in touch. 🙂

I really dont know what they want from us anymore, your scores are far more better then me, i only have 79 on part 1 which is really terrible and toefl only 240. They say if your school using english you could be exampt from taking toefl but i guess thats a lie. All the foreign graduate need to take Toefl, even if you are a citizen in the US. Plus whats the deal if they set their limit average to 75 and then reject you with the score of 88, i really dont understand. I guess the only thing i really can do now is to retake the part 1 again maybe with 90 average which is really hard to shoot for. I think you will have way better chance then me in NYU because of your score and plus you are the resident there right? I sent my application also and heard that they have more seats then any other school. Im really keeping my finger cross here. Wish both of us LUCK. I think we need that. 🙁
