Can schools officially send out rejection letters before Dec. 1st? Do they usually reject people they are not interested in right away or do they send their letters starting Dec. 1st? Thanks so much guys👍

U might receive rejections before Dec. 1st, if they are not interested in your application. But if u got a interview from any particular school, then they cant send rejection prior to Dec. 1st.

Really? I didn't know that. I thought they could send you rejections anytime but they can only accept you on and after December 1st.

I don't think that's true. The school that my husband first interviewed at sent him a rejection letter the next day. He must have said something they really didn't like....

I'm pretty sure that schools can send a rejection notice at anytime. The reason schools make an agreement to hold off on acceptances until Dec 1 is so that all schools have an equal opportunity to interview applicants and make an impression on them, before sending out acceptances and putting the pressure on said applicants to send in a deposit.
