Most of my applications was completed a month ago.

I didn't recieve anything so far. And one of my friend ( who applied last

year) told me that is an indirect notification of rejection, dental shool will

not send us anything if we get rejection. ( for the ppl who completed

application / passed cut off line at first)

Do you know anything about this??

I hope not either. I've only gotten one interview thus far and completed my secondary to western on 8/25, my secondary to UW on 9/7 and my secondary to ASDOH over a month ago with no word of an interview yet. I'm really not sure what to think anymore. I do of know a few people who were just kept on the back burner for awhile and just interviewed/accepted late in the cycle.

Personally, I would just like a straight answer because the suspense combined with having to speculate on why I haven't recieved a call yet is really messing with my mind.

hmmm just wait

The guy who I know applied 12 schools last year, and he interviewd 3, and he said he didn't recieve any notification for 6 school (incluging Boston, tufts, .....) and his status remained as "Application Complete" or "Recieved/ Under Review". Is there anyone who applied last year? 😕

This did happen to me last year, i didnt even get rejection letters. Kind of rude but whatever. so your friend is right. some schools just never change your status on aadsas.

To get back at the schools who are still reviewing my app after say April, I will call them every day asking for an update on my status 😀

i thought all schools notified you in some way if you are rejected, but i guess i thought wrong.

I'm thinking that admissions are continually receiving applications each week (perhaps even daily) and while they have reviewed early applications, they may be trying to find better applicants who applied later. Essentially, at this point I feel that as an average applicant, I have gotten through the preliminary review and my application is probably on hold until newer applications have died down. Maybe, that is the boat we are all in.....for those who haven't heard anything yet.

I am starting to lose hope on the other schools I applied to as well...just hoping for an October 26th OSU invite...also really want to hear from Louisville...

wow that is rude that they didn't contact you guys at all

would it be ok to call schools after a couple months of having a complete application to see what your application status is? i applied to a couple schools early on that i havent hear from yet and its been like 5 weeks and i know they have already handed out tons of interviews.
