Yeah, my worst fears have come true. Got it in the mail, dated april 5th, post interview, I guess I f'd it up big time. The late (jan 27th) app. probably didn't do any good either. Oh well, we'll see what transpires after i finish the second year of my MS next yr. I already have a PS ready to go come opening of the application cycle in a month or so....2011 or bust? We'll see....


i'm pathetic....sooo pathetic..I'm probably the first person they rejected this cycle.....no I'm not looking for sympathy either...

Don't be so hard on yourself, plenty of adcoms enjoy doing that to us anyway! Your applying late probably had more to do with it than anything else. Apply early in the coming cycle and I'm sure you'll get in somewhere. Again, don't be so hard on yourself. G'luck! and don't give up.

naah, you're not pathetic at all. the fact that you had the chance to apply to d-school is a privilege in itself. don't worry. you'll get in next time. also you were too late. schools reveived my application late december and i was kinda shocked that i got in. late january is just too late...

yea true what everyone says about applying early, just seems like a stone was thrown at my face when I think about how people who interviewed after me, with similar stats, got in..like i said before, I thought I handled the interview pretty well too...but a rejection came out of it....just one of those freaks of nature where lightning hit twice or some deal like that....

...yea im posting this at the risk of sounding whiny, SDN is my best friend and my worst enemy at times....

You are not pathetic at all... think of all the people didn't even get a chance to interview at NYU...
