When are most rejection letters sent out?

If you're rejected from a school, will they let you know during the same time they're also sending out interview invites/acceptances? Or do they just not write until the end of the application cycle?

Thanks!

dwell not on the negative, rejection should no be an option regardless of he school applied to.

Someone out there has to have some kind of idea about this.

I'd like to know if silence is as good as a rejection; it'll make planning for next term easier, and will help me make up my mind about where to put down deposits (I'm strapped for cash).

So...a straight answer...please.

i'd like to know too. its been so quiet I can hear a needle drop.
silence definitely isn't golden this time arouund.

i want to know my status!

but OP, if most of your friends are getting interview invites and they have similar stats to you but you haven't heard anything....that might not be a good thing. I'm dreading on this right now.

It really depends on the school you applied to the best thing to do is check last years thread and see when people were getting responses. I personally have either been rejected like a month after I sent the application or at the very end of the cycle. I think for many schools it is really to early to be worrying about it, when March rolls around and your still in the dark then you can start biting your fingernails.

I too have gotten rejected a month after they received PharmCAS and also rejected at the very end of the cycle. One school actually sent me a letter requesting the supplemental $$ and then the next day I got a rejection.... pretty sneaky. Glad I didn't send out the money. If you've already interviewed then waiting might not be a bad thing. I would put down at least one deposit even if it isn't your first choice just to make sure you're going somewhere.

I agree , it def easier to get in somewhere and put your money down. As far as rejection, I received one very early from Belmont. So the story is I guess it depends on the school and how full they are. I also know a Pharmacist who got in without an interview a week after classes started . Good Luck and do not worry

Don't be negative! You're not gonna get any rejections. Keep your head up! 👍

Wait so they DO send out rejection letters? I was under the impression that unless you got an interview, the schools wouldn't be sending you anything :/

That's a little silly, don't you think? In this case, no news is NOT good news. Pharmacy schools definitely can and do send out rejection letters. Cincinnati sends out rejection letters in late spring once they've made their final decisions. Other schools are different.
