Rejections from University of Oklahoma

Did you interview in February? Dr. Hall ( I think that was her name) said something about them making a decision within 2 weeks (from Feb. 4) and having the class set by March 1st. All of this is not that clear because she said all of this before I had my interview, so I really didn't absorb everything she said.

I had a Dec. interview and I was deferred to the February decision (around the 22nd).

Wow, you've been stressed longer than me.🙂

I've come to terms with the fact that I may not get in anywhere this year. I'm gearing up to prepare my application for next year already. There are so many things about this process I wish I would have known beforehand.

In that regard, it's nice to have the benefit of hindsight when reapplying. Thankfully, most of my mistakes are correctable. So there's really not much stress from where I'm sitting. I'm in it for the long haul.

I understand completely. I've been out of school for a while and it seems like I am "out of the loop". We have to just hang in there. Good fortune with everything!!!🙂

Anybody hear anything? I'm still over here twiddling my thumbs.

I think they said to start expecting a letter about 2 weeks after you interview, but it was more like three weeks for me. Good luck everyone!

I got a letter today saying I'm on the wait-list. What are the chances of getting in?

I'm a student at OU and know a number of people, myself included, that have recently found out they got into other schools and are giving up our spots at OU, so I would say a fair amount of movement will occur off the wait list.

My friend and I both got our letters about a week and a half post-interview sometime in mid-December. I think that there is still time for significnt shuffle to occur with many people turning loose of multiple acceptances in the next month or so. Good Luck.

Does the waitlist movement start after May 15?

I am one of 46 lucky people who got placed on the waitlist!!! :meanie:

They are forcing me to become a longhorn. 😛

soonerpillow, Texas is not so bad. I lived in Dallas for 3 years while in school. There is always something to do....
