rejections..sorry for the depressing title

i was just wondering if any one knows how rejections "work" for some of the schools...do ALL schools send a letter or email rejections...OR do some schools not even send u anything if they want to reject you?

for example, i applied to PCO and NECO..and havn't heard anything yet...so that popped up into my mind
