So -- I got rejected from one of my top scores. I have a feeling its due to my very average DAT scores. Is this rejection final? Or if I retake the DAT in the next couple weeks and up my score can I get them to reconsider me?

what school was it? just curiousss

It was ATSU. But, if they've already rejected me, is there any chance they will reconsider me after re-taking the DAT?

I would say unfortunately it's not likely, but it doesn't hurt to call the school and ask.

idk, i had always thought that decisions were final for the application cycle. you may want to call them and ask them if they would

According to Indiana (I do not know other universities, but I get this answer from Indiana), when once the dental school rejects you, they withdraw your application from further consideration for the entering class of 2009.

You may want to call them and ask your circumstances, but my guess is that it's unlikely to change that decision. However, I hope that you can get more invitations as time goes by.
