So is there anyone else who is going to dental school and currently in a serious relationship? I'm not talking about mormons who are married with three kids, or anyone who is married for that matter. I just wonder how many of us are fairly young (I'm 23) and have to figure out what to do with a live in boyfriend/girlfriend situation they are currently in. Am I going to miss out on a lot not living in dorms or finding a dental student as a roommate? I know that we're barely going to have time to hang out with eachother as dental students, but I can't help feeling that being in a serious relationship makes the experience totally different.

😕

you will probably find that a lot of your class is married or has a significant other. i (also 23) came to school with a serious girlfriend, although she is in her own grad program in florida (that is another story). I do not think that you will "miss out" on anything if you do not want to. Time is tight, but that does not mean that you have to miss being a part of your class because you spend all of your free time with your S.O. Dental school is what you make of it (both in and out of the classroom): you can decide to be a recluse and never hang out with your classmates, or you can decide to integrate them into y'alls life.

hopefully this helped.

Having a girl friend never held me back from havin a real good time.
