I was curious where you heard that the COMLEX board scores were going to be released July 28th? Thanks. 🙂

Thanks for information. I e-mailed someone from NBOME no word yet. As to your first question, I think NBOME only sends them snailmail to us, but your school gets them earlier then we do. I know at my school last year they handed them out at the Dean's Office. I do not know if this is a policy of every school or if most schools opt to send out any scores via e-mail. I will let you know if I hear anything.

COMLEX 1 + 8weeks= Wed 7/30
Rumor has it that the schools already know who has passed or failed as we have now entered the 7+ week.

Well, at least not in my school. The registrar told me we get it earliest, then deans, then registrar. Bump.

Quinn & Stomper are right. I worked in the registrar's office at TCOM. The scores are problably already there. They usually show up about a week before you get them.
Kinda sux!

Well, maybe the lady working at my school's registrar is lying or clueless. If anyone found out from registrar, let us know ASAP so i can hunt mine down.

Last year, the Dean received score reports by FED-Ex (overnight?). I believe it was 8 weeks to the day from the Wednesday of the test. We could get a copy from the school that day.

Score reports mailed (US mail) to the student's home by NBOME arrived about 1 week(?) later.

There is no electronic reporting of COMLEX like there is for USMLE for Dean's offices.

Your deans have your scores! PCOM's did anyway. However, they wouldn't divulge our actual scores, they would only tell us if we got the big P or the big F. Thankfully, i got the big P...now i just need to know my dang score, which our dean told us we should be receiving via USPS around 7/30.

The waits almost over folks...get ready. Good luck!

slindsay, I am so jealous...I wish I knew if I got a P or an F! This wait is driving me crazy! I guess we will find out soon...hopefully ALL of us SDN'ers passed!

(Where is that vomiting smiley, because that is what I feel like doing every time I think about getting my COMLEX score...)

We got a nice email from our dean today congratulating us on a 98.5% pass rate, which kind of sucks to me because it means 2 of us failed. I hate that! Now it's just torturous. Do I go find out from the deans office? I like to receive bad news in my home where there is darkness and alcohol. kidding.

But I would rather receive bad news in my house. But I might die in the meanwhile waiting to get them by snail mail. Oh this is a hard decision...

LECOM hasn't told us. Guess I'll have to wait for the snail mail. (Our pass rate has been crappy as of late, so it doesn't surprise me that they haven't let us know.)

I got mine in the mail today. I didn't do the best, but I passed and that is all that matters! (considering I don't want any sort of super-competitive residency) I'm so happy to finally be able to call myself an MS-III officially!

i am a lecom student class of 2005. i got my scores in the mail today. i am extremely happy with my scores. i passed!! my post exam prediction was within 13 points of my actual score!! congratulations to all! our dreams are coming true, and we are all one step closer to being called doctor!!

Yippy, no october date w/ COMLEX for me! I did average on USMLE (217) and COMLEX (613). I dunt know wuts a competitive score on COMLEX, say if i'm shooting for radiology/oncology wut should i aim for?

What would be considered a competitive COMLEX score?? I'm not quite sure what specialty I'm interested in yet (maybe Gas, Rads, Ortho?????). I got a 588 = 85th %. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I did not take USMLE, hopefully that won't come back to bite me in the *ss.

You guys are really asking if a 613 and a 588 are competitive? My god. Look at your percentiles. They are quite good, right? Especially the 613. That's a fantasti score. Who the hell knows what you need for ortho, though. That would be my only worry.

I was wondering if anyone knows what score is needed for each residency? What is a competitive COMLEX score for each residency such as FP, IM, Peds, OB, Surg, Neuro, Radiology, Etc....? Could someone with some info. please post a reply to these questions so it can help us to better evaluate our performance on the Exam??
