Release to AACOMAS before Aug MCAT score?

What makes more sense? Releasing my application to AACOMAS and let them update it with my August MCAT, or, waiting till October 20th, and after knowing my score, releasing my application to AACOMAS? Will AACOMAS begin verifying my transcripts without my MCAT? Or if I release it now it would anyway just sit there till the 20th? What are all the other August MCATers doing. Let me know. Thanks.

Release it now! They will start processing it and will have it all done, then when they get your scores they can send it to your schools.

hey, I have a question along these same lines. I submitted my aacomas about a week and a half ago and was checking over my profile. Under MCAT SCORES, it says that I don't have any?!?!? I printed off my primaries before i sent them and i did put in my scores from Aug. 2004 on there. I thought maybe that aacomas hadn't verified the scores yet and were doing that, but I called their help line just to make sure and some lady told me i had to have an official MCAT score report forwarded to AACOMAS?!?!?!?! wtf??? Is this true? Does anyone know how to do this? and why was there never any mention of it during the primary process??? 😡

I am in the same boat as you. I am getting secondaries with out the mcat score. What's going on? How do I send them?

Go to the aamc website and look under the MCAT. I think you log in under Testing History with your username and whatnot, and there's some directions on how to release your scores on there.
