Bank of america has a graduate school loan that you can get for up to 30,000 dollars above and beyond your existing loans. They will process and mail you a check within 4-5 days. Just needs to be for something edumacational, ie field trip to tropical resort in foreign country.

makes life a lot less stressful when money isn't a concern. May need a cosigner if your credits bad.

This is good information to know sandman. Thanks a lot. Take care and GOD bless.

Here's another good source:

1) Dental Education Assistance Loan (DEAL) You don't have to pay while enrolling in dental school.
http://www.key.com/html/H-1.33.b1.html

10-Year Term = 5.80%
15-Year Term = 6.05%

2) AchieverLoan.
Your parents or someone else can borrow it for you. You have to make monthly payments.
Current rate: 6.9%, 20-yr term.

I took out about $19K, 5% interest, monthly payment $134.00/month.

Keep in mind that you can not consolidate these alternative loans.
The current rate for consolidation for Stafford, Health Professional Student Loan (HPSL) is from 2.385% to 3.375% depends on the amount of your loans. You can consolidate now before the rate goes up after Jun 30th.
