Hi all, I've received invitations for a couple of remote interviews and am planning for those at the moment, and realized that I am not sure where to physically sit for interviews.

Currently I take meetings in a space that for reasons too farcical to describe I cannot reasonably tidy, it's not distractingly messy and is private but it isn't ideal. An alternative idea I had was to ask at the public library if they have available rooms for something like this, it would be less of a comfortable environment but might look tidier.

Is this something I should spend any more effort considering? If so does anyone have thoughts/advice? Thanks!!

If you are not currently enrolled, I would encourage you to ask your local library about reserving rooms and carrels.

If you are currently enrolled, I would ask your career services office or library about reserving rooms and carrels.

thanks all, I'll probably contact my local library about it : )
