Renegging on a Letter of Intent

If a person wrote a letter of intent to a school and then once accepted chose not to go there, do you think that school would remember that come residency applications?

Do residency directors make decisions on their own? Is there any way they would find out about that?

Possibly, but I wouldn't worry about it too much - nothing you can do about it now.

I would imagine that after 4 years, this stuff wouldn't matter.
