So I graduate school at the end of this month and will be making the 55k resident salary. . If I take the 6 month grace period I will be putting about 600 a month on my loans starting in November (based upon my wife's salary). Interest on my loans is about 1300 a month so I will benefit from repaye subsidy. My question does this 600 a month last for a whole 12 months or does it only last until April when we file taxes and government sees that we made more money? As in will the 600 bucks a month increase in November 2020 or in ~April 2020.
Side note: I want to take the grace period so we can wrap up her student loans which are private. Then concentrate on mine.

cliff notes: when does the amount you have to pay on REPAYE change??

It's every 12 months. You re-certify for partial financial hardship yearly based on your taxes for the most recently filed year.
