Repeat or Apply?

I got a C- in English 1 and a D in English 2?

Will i HAVE TO REPEAT these courses in order to apply to MD/DO schools or I can apply regardless? Thank you for your input! 🙂

Most schools require at least a C in a pre-rep class. Also if your verbal score or writing score on the MCAT is low this may be a huge red flag to adcoms.

You'll have to repeat if you apply to any schools that require English. A lot of them do. Check MSAR.

Otherwise, whether or not you want to retake depends on your GPA.

defintely repeat. Is there any reason why you are not doing so hot? Is english your second language? Did you overload yourself this past semester?

you don't need to finish taking all pre-reqs at the time of application. if you're missing a class or two no problemo. however, your downard trend in english is alarming so you may want to repeat (unless you don't think you'll improve).

good luck, if there is free assistance provided by your school for english defintely take advantage of it. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it

You should definitely repeat and have a reason (not an excuse) as to your earlier grades. Good luck op.
