does it look bad if i submit the same essay or an extremely similar essay as last year for my supplemental? i am a reapplicant. for one of my schools, the admissions person explicitly told me that my supplemental was one of the best they had seen. i dont know if it would be wise to change it and my reasons for attending the school havent' changed much.

I'm a re-applicant also. I went to this re-applicant seminar for Minnesota (which btw has an outrageous secondary) and the assistant dean specifically said she laughs at applicants who copy and paste their old material when reapplying. Or copy and paste their personal statement to answer supplemental questions. They don't appreciate it. At the U of M at least.

I'd still change it up a little. I'm sure as a re-applicant, you have more to add and maybe things to get rid of in retrospect?
