How does a repeated course get counted toward your GPA? I had an F for Cal.2 the first time, an A the second time. Do they get averaged? or substituted?

BTW, I have another repeated course getting the same grade twice. Do two grades get counted TWICE? (effect my GPA twicely heavy?)

For your transcript GPA, it should only count once (that is how it was at my undergrad institution).

However, for your AMCAS GPA, both classes will count. I had 3 retakes, and they counted all 6 classes, even though my genetics retake was at the same undergrad institution.

You mean if got a C for the same courses twice, that means I got TWO Cs overall?

Does anyone know what courses does science GPA include? Only pre-med req. courses, or all science courses such as molecular biology, genetic, plant biology, anatomy, biochem...?
