So, some of you might kill me for asking this question...but here's the deal:

I currently have a 3.83, but I got a B in this effing Math class because of a horrible professor who wouldn't give out more than 2 As.

If I retake the course with an easier professor, get an A, my GPA will be at a 3.9 (3.86ish for AMCAS).

Is this even practical? Should I even consider this?

Even for top-tiers?

The other aspects of my application are stellar apart from my GPA. I am not too worried about the MCAT (knock on wood); I have been studying my tail off.
