So it makes perfect since that you can retake a course in which you receive a C- or less, but people on here always talk about retaking courses that you've already passed. I don't understand why a university would let you do this without any penalty, or is it that when people are suggesting to retake certain courses, it's assumed there is a penalty?
When I say penalty, I mean here in UCs, for example, you will get a transcript notation saying "Unapproved Repeat" and the grade/credits will not count for you. I'm sure it'll count for AMCAS, but has anyone here actually retaken a course and received this "unapproved repeat" notation, and applied successfully to medical school?
