Has anyone ever replaced a poor grade with the same course, but taken as pass/fail?

My school allows elective courses to be taking on a pass/fail basis, and I made the mistake of taking a 400 level Advanced Number Theory class back in my second year. I pulled a C, and it was a very neat class.

I'm wondering if it will swing to take the class again, but as pass/fail, and then it will be in effect not counted? It seems to fit with the policy, but I can see how that would be frowned upon haha.

Mind you, I will be retaking 4 pre-reqs for grade replacement as well.

Won't help you. They are completely different grading methods and AACOMAS has a system so the C will still count. Move on and take some thing else one C isn't going to harm you.

Thanks, just thought i'd give it a whirl 🙂
