The admission ticket just indicates "report on Saturday at 8:30"
I wonder if that's the time the test will start, or the time I should arrive 🙄

Um, just get there 15 minutes early (8:15). Problem solved.

The test will not start at 8:30. They have all kinds of proctor duties to do before the exam starts. But I would arrive early.

Follow the directions and be there at 8:30. The proctors have to check everyone in, so the test probably won't start until 9ish..
