So I searched through some older posts and couldn't seem to find this exact question, but if it's already been asked a link would be great. Anyways, my question is about reporting all grades. So I know you have to report all grades earned at any institution, but what if it is earned in High school? My High school did this thing where it basically dual enrolled us at our local community college and I got a ton of credits through that. So if I do have to report it during applications, will the grades also count toward my overall GPA? The grades are also listed on a transcript from the community college.

Thanks

Yes you need to include college grades earned while in high school. There is a section on the AMCAS that will seperate the grades earned will in HS from those earned during undergrad... in case you did alot worse. But it will also be included in your overall GPA.

Thanks for the fast response!

Sorry I don't really want to bring this up again, but I have another question and also don't want to start a completely new post. Regarding my first question and the separate sections on the AMCAS, does this mean that my high school grades will be looked upon less heavily than my undergrad. This seems quite obvious that undergrad is a lot more important, but the high school grades are techically on a CC transcript. Basically what I'm getting at is that if I screw up my undergraduate will the high school grades serve as a nice buffer or will schools look down upon the fact that I did much better in high school than undergrad which is a lot easier or will the two grades be looked upon the same since they are both college transcripts.

the two grades would be looked upon the same but it is also better to have an upward trend than a downward in the eyes of the adcoms
