So, I had my GRE scores (from 2006) sent to Boston University, who then sent them to SOPHAS (does this system make ANY sense?). SOPHAS now has them.
I don't understand how so many schools, usually but not only state schools, say that you need to have your GRE scores reported directly to them, when they get pretty much everything else from SOPHAS like LORs, transcripts, resume, PS... Does that only apply to people who haven't yet taken the exam, perhaps?
And as you know, it's not cheap to have the scores sent!
I asked SOPHAS about this and they said that getting the scores through them should be sufficient, but that I should ask the schools to confirm. (Come on now; I can't be the first person to ask this question. There HAS to be an answer.)
Has anyone by chance already asked the/some schools about this and know for sure? Because I'd hate to bug the admission people any more, and it seems like there should be a simple answer.
Thanks in advance.
