I am still deciding on whether to take the Oct PCAT because only one of the schools I am *maybe* applying to requires it. This school's application deadline isn't until Jan. 2008. If I take the Oct PCAT but don't send the scores to PharmCAS or the school, will it be possible to send "official transcripts" AFTER I get my personal score report (i.e. if I do well on the PCAT)? Does anyone know how long it usually takes for schools to receive official transcripts from the PCAT after you request them?

Yes

If you don't designate PharmCAS or the school as your recipients when you sign up to take the test, then the score report won't reach them. You may wait until after you have received your scores and then submit them then. However, the transcript won't get to your school until two to three weeks after you've sent the request by mail or online at www.PCATweb.info. So, the earliest that your school will get your scores would be 7-10 weeks after the October test date. That's cutting it close to the deadline.
