reporting USMLE scores

Hey does anyone know if it is mandatory to report your USMLE scores if you dont do well on them?
i am a DO student so I need to pass COMLEX for my school but if I dont do well on the USMLE can I just not send out that score report or will residency directors see that I took it?

if you're a DO student do you have to take both?

you don't have to.... but around ~50% take it for various reasons

-applying to an allo program that doesn't really accept the comlex
-not knowing what and/or where they want to apply so take it just in case they need it

Depends on the school.... for some reason my school decided to put our USMLE scores on our transcripts (if you take it), NO OPTION. That was a very low move on their part in my opinion, but whatever...

But I think most schools make it optional, you have to check...
