Reproductive Hormone on MCAT

Hey man,

Kind of a hit or miss topic on the actual thing but definitely something that could show up on an entire passage. I've taken the test twice and I think I had a total of about 3 questions on the topic. Nonetheless, if it has anything to do with hormones, be sure you know it because it is a perfect topic for discrete questions.

Know reproductive hormones, what hormones increase/decrease before ovulation especially, what cells are responsible for sperm maturation... know spermatogenesis and oogenesis (basics).

This as well as which hormones then in turn affect other hormones. For hormones, know their source organ, function, and mechanism (peptide/steroid) as well as regulation for the one's where it's mentioned (i.e., positive feedback, etc.).
