Request transcripts before next cycle opens?

Hello Everyone,

I see a lot of people say "apply and send your application the day the cycle opens" what I don't understand is how this is possible if as far as I know transcripts need to have a matching form and how do I get that before I open my AADSAS application? Is it possible to create one now to get that matching form? or do I get them sent to my house right now and go from there? I'm confused.

Doesn't matter. June 1st or August 1st. There's really no difference. Do it all before mid August and you're set.

normally the application opens in June 1st, on this day you input your colleges and get matching form, then you express send your transcripts which will be received by AADSAS in 3-4 days (for express) and uploaded on the portal in about a week. during this time, you fill out the applications, in put your classes, and submit by second week of June. then it will only take you 3-4 days for AADSAS to verify your applciation. In july, it takes 2-3 weeks to verify.

So just to confirm, the first thing to input when the application opens are the colleges (not the other sections), so that we can send the transcripts to AADSAS as soon as possible, correct? Does that also mean that we can print out the matching forms even before we hit the "e-submit" button?

you can skip around in the applications but yes, jump to the colleges attended, put start and end date, and when you save and go back to main menu, it will produce a matching form next to each college you attended. you don't need to esubmit to print out matching form.

a lot of colleges/university use online transcript ordering, which is more convenient. you can just attach the matching form as an attachment and when the transcript is mailed, it will be mailed with the matching form.

so once again, i feel it wont be any worse if you submit in july or august vs june but it is best to submit asap. good luck!.

Please do everything as early in June as possible. Submitting in July or August is better than September or October for sure, but can still hurt you. I submitted August 1st and verifying my GPA took just over 6 weeks. Schools didn't receive my application until mid September, and many had already filled a lot of interview slots. Don't stress like I did. Have everything ready that you can on June 1st 🙂
