You can apply to literally any school you want - you are competitive for all the top schools. Apply as a Texas resident.

Here is the list I suggest:

Every TDMSAS school
Baylor
UCSF
UCLA
UCSD
UCR (only if you're originally from the Inland Empire region of California - otherwise pass)
UCI (only if you really want to end up in California or you went here for undergrad - otherwise pass)
UCD (only if you really want to end up in California or you went here for undergrad - otherwise pass)
USC-Keck
Stanford
Mayo
Chicago-Pritzker
WashU
Vanderbilt
Hopkins
NYU
Michigan
Harvard
Yale
Columbia
Cornell
Sinai (added the last three because it looks like NYC might be a place you're interested in ending up)

Other schools you could consider are Penn, Duke, Pitt, and Northwestern.

Basically you should only apply to schools outside Texas that are reach schools. You're going to get into a TDMSAS school. So that's basically the California schools + top schools that interest you. If you really want to end up at a top school, you should skip out on UCR, UCI, UCD and Mayo (unless you really want to go to Mayo) and then apply to TDMSAS + top 20 (not including University of Washington because you're not from the WWAMI region).
