So I'm scheduled to take the DAT in two weeks... I'm studying 8~12 hours a day. I kind of want to reschedule it to the summer because I think I can get a higher score with more time and more sciences under my belt. (Junior year) but the latest I can move it to is late February. Any suggestions?

How long have you been studying? If you've been going at it for a month already then take it in two weeks and see how you do. If you like your score, keep it. If you don't like it, you can take it again after the 3 month waiting period.

I had initially scheduled mine during spring break but ended up having 2 extremely busy semesters and not enough time to study as much as I wanted to and the furthest out I was able to reschedule would have been during finals so I ended up just biting the bullet and losing the money I initially paid for it and paid again to take it at the end of June so I had a solid 6-8 weeks to study. Even though I ended up losing money I felt like it was worth it because my spring semester grades were better and I did well on the DAT when I had more time to devote to studying.

Appreciate the reply. I've only been studying for about 2 weeks

Yeah that's kind of my problem.. I thought I would have more time during the semester, but three sciences kept me busy so I think I'm going to go for it and worst case take it again but hopefully not.

That's definitely an option. Might help you to do better this summer having a better idea what you're getting into. I thought about that myself but just wanted a break from it entirely.
