Hi. I'm scheduled to take the DAT in (let's see...) 7 hours from now and I'm not 100% ready for it. Hell, even if I pull an all nighter, I still won't be ready. The last thing I want to happen is to get a crappy score and have to wait 3 months to take it again.
I understand that I can't reschedule the DAT since it's past the 48 hour deadline as of now, but according to the DAT guidelines:
"No-shows, or candidates who cancel less than two days before the scheduled testing date, will not be reassigned to another date unless another application and fee are submitted. All arrangements must be made by calling the Prometric Candidate Contact Center with the 800-number used to schedule the test initially. Rescheduling or cancellation of an appointment must be made with a Prometric representative. Leaving a message is not sufficient to cancel or reschedule an appointment."
So, if I cancel my test date, I understand that I have to re-register for it again, which is fine. However, do I have to wait 3 months still? Also, will this cancellation show up on the DAT transcript?
PLEASE HELP!
🙁
