ReScheduling on the day of the exam

Hey guys,

While I have been able to successfully reschedule my test the night before on the Prometric website (at a cost of about a 100 bucks and didn't have to do anything else such as contact the NBME) I was wondering what the policy was rescheduling the morning of the exam (I.e. in case I get sick or don't feel well)...is it too late to reschedule (I.e. does your token or ID expire) on the morning of or can you reschedule on the Prometric site without having to contact the NBME?

You cannot reschedule on the day of the test. You will have to wait for the "no show" on their system and then call NBME and pay a hefty fee to Prometric to reschedule if your eligibility period has not expired. You can only reschedule/cancel before 12 midnight EST i.e. the previous day.
