I have never heard of it happening, but in your case you definitely should do it. I am not sure how likely it is that something will come out of it, but I think in this situation the pros heavily outweigh the cons (basically only a small waste of money).

Thank you guys for being so supportive. I just ordered the score recheck, feels like I just gave away $80 dollars. Wen I have like no money in my bank account it hurts , oh well. The NBME website is like " We will do a rigorous rescore! Please allow 2 weeks!" Why do I feel like they won't do **** and just collect my 80 dollars, lol its not like I have anyway of knowing if they will actually rescore.
