Bruce Alberts, Marc Kirschner, Shirley Tilghman, Harold Varmus and other bigwigs are crowdsourcing solutions to the systemic malfunctioning that plagues biomedical research.

There have been a lot of good ideas bandied about this forum and I'd encourage people to go make their voices heard.

Glad to see that folks in powerful positions are in on the discussion and are spearheading the effort to implement solutions. Hopefully things will have significantly changed for the better when I finish training ~15 years from now? /wishful thinking

I spent much of yesterday reading through the "how to fix MSTP" thread (and questioning my life choices). Maybe some of the thoughts that were shared there can also be shared to this website.
