Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows whether there are strict regulations about becoming a research assistant in a lab at another university. I really want to go to a lab at another university to work and since I would rather increase my time there in order to get as many papers/abstracts as I can (it's basic science research) rather than care about funding (I can find funding opportunities on my own and would much rather become a 'volunteer' RA if needed), would I be violating any university/IRB rules or regulations? Thanks!
