Research Elective

Hi guys

I'm a UK medical student with an interest in thrombosis.

I was thinking about doing a research elective over in America.

Does anyone have any recommendations of key people to contact or some of the better institutitons for this sort of experience?

Many US institutions would have someone doing thrombosis research. If I would you I'd shoot for the lights first off, then if you have to go down to some of the lower tier institutions. Why not try Cleveland Clinic, Harvard Hospitals and Johns Hopkins to start off with. I don't know particular people, but I'm sure just searching their web sites you can find some people.
