I have had a number of research experiences so it turns out that my description for each one is only a few hundred characters above the limit given in the activities description section. Should I copy and paste and just cut a couple sentences? Should I just give a brief one sentence description since it's covered in my essay? My concern is that I would also like to be considered for just-MD at the applicable schools, and that whatever committee handles that might not read my research experience essay so I should explain fully in the activities section. On the flip side, I don't want md/phd adcoms to just gloss over my research experience essay after noting that it is almost the same to my descriptions because the couple sentences that I cut do add clarity.
