Research experience - case report

Quick question, Should I include a case report I did under research experience in my CV? I have already included it under publications.

Somewhat unsure as to what counts as research experience for residency application.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I don't think it counts as 'research', as this wasn't a research project in essence. It still looks awesome as a publication, so I wouldn't worry about not getting full credit for the work you did, it will definitely help your application.
