Research Experience or Professional Experience?

So I've had 3 paid, full time positions that have been at research centers (U. Colorado Med School, Max Planck Institute, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research) and I've produced publishable materials at each one and all were considered research positions. But do I put these under professional work experience or research experience for the AADSAS? Would it matter one way or another? Thanks for any input!

I think they belong to research, and you can select "paid" under what type of research.
