I worked for a while as a research assistant and worked on a few major projects but none were published with my name on them. I am wondering how I would list these under research experiences. Where would you put the title of the project? Under organization?

For example

Organization: Title of project
Position: Super researcher
Supervisor: Head dude
Description: blah blah blah

no you put the title under description. I mean you have an organization/institution that you worked at right?

Ya, I just wasn't sure how it worked. I would think they would have some space for title in there. :dunno:

Several of the research experiences I've had don't have any sort of official title. I just described what I was doing under "description". I would think "organization" means more along the lines of the name of your graduate or medical school.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but is writing up a case report considered a "research experience"? My other 'real' research experiences entailed quite a bit more effort. I was just going to list the case report under pubs but it doesn't look like the paper will be submitted before Sept. 1st, but I'd like to get it somewhere on the application.

Thanks

You certainly can list it there if you wish.

do PD's just look at total NUMBER of publications? or do they go down the publication list and try to make sense of it?
