I have never had a research experiment. What do people do during a research expierment? what is the purpose of a research expierment? Listen, this is my first year in a biology major and I am junior at school.

I want to do expierment to test out the blood in human body such as diabetic and cancer to find out the cause of those, but I don't specific which one of these (below to pick)

Cellular and Molecular Biology
Developmental Genetics
Medical and Molecular Parasitology
Microbiology
Molecular Oncology and Immunology
Molecular Pharmacology
Neuroscience and Physiology
Structural Biology

Umm, didn't you ever take science in high school?
1. Observe some aspect of the universe, problem, or unknown.
2. Invent a tentative description, called a hypothesis, that is consistent with what you have observed.
3. Use the hypothesis to make predictions.
4. Test those predictions by experiments or further observations and modify the hypothesis in the light of your results.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until there are no discrepancies between theory and experiment and/or observation

It just a minor little thing called the scientific method, maybe you heard of it in 6th grade science?

uh, see step 5. the purpose is to find a significant relationship in order to show the probablility that your hypothesis was correct.

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.................. Read the advice above, it's really good. I think you're asking about how to start a research project of your own? Or you're asking which classes to take to help you get a foundation for a research project idea? Well, anyway, please clarify this and maybe we can help 🙂
