My team is developing, under a subject's project, a prototype for a device which is mainly dedicated to children. This device has, as function, to communicate with many other devices like a computer, tv, radio, and it has access to their functionalities too, for example, in a computer, access to videos, music, and so on.
Since we at engineering, we would like to hear a different opinion about it, specially from the ones that interact more with children and most specially with children that have physical and mental limitations. We have already our thoughts about it but we don't want to influence anyone.
We would like to know, if you were going to develop a device like such what your preferences would be when it comes to its size (device and monitor), interface (colors, animations,...), functionalities (like the accesses mentioned before or even games).
