Hello everyone, I have never posted here on SDN because I can usually find the information I'm looking for through the archives, but for this particular question I haven't been able to find a post to answer my question - so here it is :
Does anyone know if the top-tier dental schools (Columbia, Penn, Harvard, UCSF, UCLA, etc...) would look negatively upon research done in a non-scientific discipline?
I feel my major and other extra-curricular activities are so science-focused that it would be nice to have research in a different area. Particularly, my school has a very good sports-psychology department, and I would love to participate in research there, but if it will hinder my dental school chances I would certainly have to reconsider.
Thanks so much for your responses everyone !
