Hello, maybe it's not the right forum but I couldn't see any specific section for research.
I am an IMG with no prior research experience and done with all the board exams except step3. I want to volunteer in a research, but no luck so far. Is there something that I am doing wrong? I have emailed hundreds of doctors, sending a straight forward email, with an updated CV, and explaining why I am interested in that position.
Should I be doing something else?
I am also applying for the coming match. Is there any thing that should not mentioned AT ALL in the personal statement that many students do thinking that it's probably useful but on the contrary works against them?
Please give me some inputs.
